Prof. Majid Anvari

Majid Anvari was born in September of 1976 in Tehran, Aryashahr neighborhood, in a family of sportsman, His father, Abolfazl Anvari was the first Iranian holder of the world's heavyweight wrestling medal and the flag bearer of Iran's sports convoy in the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City.

At the age of 13, his father, who was faced with Majid's excessive passion for sports, decided to buy some bodybuilding equipment so that Majid could release his energy with weight training, because he did not like Majid to be attracted to wrestling, unaware that for many years, seeing the people's respect and reverence for their champion, Majid was fascinated by wrestling and harbored great dreams of becoming a champion, but since the conditions at home were patriarchal, Majid respected his father's decision and only practiced bodybuilding. At the age of 15, at the insistence of Majid's PE teacher, his father agreed to allow Majid to participate in school competitions.

Needless to say, sometimes Majid's father's emotions overcame his logic, and he taught him some wrestling techniques.

Majid managed to achieve a relatively favorable result in the school competitions, although he had not practiced wrestling in any club until that day, and only his father's teachings in the backyard made him win against two or three opponents who were practicing in the club so, after that, his father decided to pay more attention to Majid's Wrestling.

For a while, his father took him to Jahanbakht Tawfiq club and he participated in national training coached by Mr. Mansour Barzegar, Olympic silver medalist and world champion. But because of the level difference that existed,

These exercises did not help Majid's growth, and his father enrolled him in Bagh Faiz club under the supervision of Mr. Mohammad Ali Hassas and Mr. Ahmadi so that he could improve, but whenever he noticed that Majid's grades dropping, he stopped him from going to the gym. This irregularity in the training process was the biggest problem for Majid's wrestling progress.

It is interesting to know that when Majid was following his training, he had met Mr. Abbas Nazari, the ten-year kabaddi champion of Iran, in Zorkhaneh. After that, he would go to Zorkhane and practice ancient sports from 9 to 11 at night. Several years passed, until at the age of 18, when Majid was preparing to participate in the national youth team's selection tournament, it was his last chance to participate, and then he entered the adult stage! Unfortunately his birth certificate was lost so he could not enter so he returned home with tears in his eyes.

When he started his university education, he found a little more freedom of action to pursue professional training and became the champion in the student competition in 1375, but he was not sent to the world student competition in Italy, and he was replaced by a member of the adult national team, in the year he became the champion in 1376 but still was not sent to the French World Championships again! In 1377, he became the champion in the students' selection, but he was not sent to the world students' competition in Japan!!

And in all these years, he participated in wrestling competitions and became the capital's champion. But Majid never got tired and despaired and kept going.

In the 2002 World Police Competition held in Tehran, he participated and won the first place as a representative of Team Pas.

Until in 1382, in the national championship of adults, which was also the final selection of the national team, he defeated all the heavyweights of Iran with a high score difference, but unfortunately he lost to Alireza Rezai, due to rupture of the blood vessel in his left leg.

it was Majid's turn to wear the national team and make his dreams come true, but in the same Athens Olympics, the wrestling rules were changed by the World Federation in a very strange way. And the fundamentals were changed and all the points, warnings and Wrestling time were moved, and Majid tried his best for another year to master the necessary skills based on the new laws, but really, this law did not fit with Majid's wrestling system. And this was the end of Majid's wrestling line, with a resume of participation in the Premier Leagues for four years and cooperation with the Yazd Sang-e-Ahan team, and all the highs and lows and after more than twelve years of effort in wrestling, he cleared the field for others.

After the winding period of wrestling, in 1385, Majid decided to take on another sport and considering that his relative Ali Anvari was one of the karate champions and coaches, Majid started his training under his guidance and since he was a great physical shape, he quickly went through the steps of advancement and reached the championship position in the championship of Tehran and the country in 1387.

In 2010, he participated in the Open World Cup in Sheffield, England, and reached the third place, and in 2011, he participated in the Wadorio Karate World Championships in Texas, USA, and reached the fourth place.

Since 1397, he has been working professionally as a coach in the elementary age groups of wrestling, and he has taught wrestling from the ages of six to sixteen years, and he has transferred his professional knowledge to the children of his city and locality in Anvari Foundation.

Majid Anvari was also active in the specialized bodybuilding coaching branch of various sports fields and during his university teaching, many student benefited from his coaching and academic teachings including Sajjad Ganjzadeh, the Olympic gold champion, and Saeed Melayi, the Olympic silver champion, and one of the late cycling champions; Ziba Mahini and Taekwondo Kaveh Rezaei, to name a few.

Professor Anvari received his bachelor's degree in 1380 from Azad University, center branch, and in 1382, he continued his studies at the master's level of Azad University, Karaj branch, he defended his thesis under the guidance of Dr. Rahimi and Dr. Sokhangooi. Then he entered the doctorate program and was invited to Azad University as a professor of physical education and sports sciences, sports pathology, corrective movement, kinesiology, history of physical education and practical courses in wrestling, martial arts and gymnastics.

مجيد انورى مهرماه ١٣٥٥ در تهران محله آرياشهر در خانواده  ورزش کار و ورزش دوست متولد شد، پدرش ابوالفضل انورى دارنده اولين مدال سنگين وزن كشتى جهان و پرچمدار كاروان ورزشى ايران در بازيهاى المپيك تابستانى ١٩٦٨ مكزيكو سيتى بود. 

در سن ١٣ سالگى پدر كه با اشتياق بيش از حد مجيد به ورزش روبرو بود، تصميم گرفت وسايل بدنسازى خريده تا مجيد با تمرينات وزنه، انرژي خود را تخليه نمايد، چرا كه خودش آنچنان دوست نداشت مجيد جذب ورزش كشتى شود، غافل از اينكه مجيد ساليان سال با ديدن احترام و حرمت مردم به قهرمانشان، شيفته و شيداى كشتى شده بود و آرزوهاى بزرگ قهرمانى را در سر ميپروراند، ولى از آنجايى كه شرايط حاكم بر خانه، پدر سالارى بود، مجيد به حرف پدر احترام ميگذاشت و صرفاً تمرينات بدنسازى انجام ميداد تا در سن ١٥ سالگى با اصرار معلم ورزش مدرسه پدر موافقت كرد تا مجيد در مسابقات آموزشگاهها شركت كند. 

ناگفته نماند گاهاً احساسات پدر مجيد بر منطق او غلبه ميكرد و در ورزش صبحگاهى با علاقه اى كه از مجيد ميديد ، آموزش بعضى از فنون كشتى را به او آموزش ميداد. 

مجيد موفق شد در مسابقات آموزشگاهى نتيجه نسبتاً مطلوبى را بدست بياورد هر چند كه تا آن روز در هيچ باشگاهى تمرين كشتى نكرده بود و فقط آموزه هاى پدر باعث شد  تا مقابل دو سه حريف كه تمرين باشگاهى داشتند پيروز ميدان شود.

پس از آن پدر تصميم گرفت تا كمى بيشتر به كشتى مجيد توجه كند، اما همچنان تاكيد وى به درس خواندن مجيد بود. 

براى مدتى پدر، مجيد را به باشگاه جهانبخت توفيق ميبرد و در تمرينات ملى پوشان شركت ميداد زير نظر آقاى منصور برزگر دارنده مدال نقره المپيك و قهرمان جهان. ولى با توجه به اختلاف سطحى كه وجود داشت،

اين تمرينات باعث رشد مجيد نميشد و پدر ، مجيد را در باشگاه باغ فيض زير نظر آقاى محمد على حساس و آقاى احمدى ثبتنام كرد تا پيشرفت كند، اما هر وقت متوجه ميشد درس مجيد ضعيف شده از باشگاه رفتنش جلوگيرى ميكرد, اين بى نظمى در روند تمرينات بزرگترين آفت براى روند پيشرفت كشتى مجيد بود.

 جالبه بدانيد زمانى كه مجيد تمرينات خود را پيگيرى ميكرد با زورخانه آقاى عباس نظرى قهرمان ده ساله كباده ايران در محله جنت آباد آشنا شده بود كه روزهاى تمرين كشتى از ساعت ٤/٣٠ بعد از ظهر در باشگاه كشتى مشغول تمرين ميشد تا ساعت ٨ غروب و پس از آن به زورخانه ميرفت و از ساعت ٩ تا ١١ شب به ورزش باستانى ميپرداخت. به همين ترتيب چند سالى گذشت،تا در سن ١٨ سالگى كه مجيد خود را آماده ميديد براى شركت در مسابقات انتخابى تيم ملى جوانان و آخرين فرصت شركت بود و بعد وارد مرحله بزرگسالان ميشد!!وقتى براى وزن كشى به سالن مراجعه كرد متوجه شد شناسنامه را بهمراه ندارد!! و نتوانست وزن كشى كند و با چشمانى اشك بار شاهد مسابقات آخرين شانس حضورش در مرحله جوانان بود

بعد از اينكه در كنكور شركت و وارد دانشگاه شد كمى آزادى عمل بيشترى نسبت به پيگيرى تمرينات حرفه اى پيدا كرد و در مسابقات دنشجويان سال ١٣٧٥ قهرمان شد ولى به مسابقات جهانى دانشجوها در ايتاليا اعزام نشد و نفر فيكس تيم ملى بزرگسالان جايگزين او شد، سال ١٣٧٦ قهرمان شد و باز هم به مسابقات جهانى فرانسه اعزام نشد! در سال ١٣٧٧ در انتخابى دانشجوها قهرمان شد ولى به مسابقات جهانى دانشجوها در ژاپن اعزام نشد!!

و در تمام اين سالها در مسابقات پهلوانى هم شركت ميكرد و پهلوان پايتخت و گاهاً نايب پهلوان پايتخت ميشد. و اما مجيد هرگز خسته و نا اميد نشد و همچنان ادامه ميداد.

در مسابقات پليسهاى جهان سال ٢٠٠٢ كه در تهران برگزار شد به نمايندگى از تيم پاس شركت و مقام اول را كسب نمود. 

تا اينكه در سال ١٣٨٢ مسابقات قهرمانى كشور بزرگسالان كه انتخابى نهايى تيم ملى هم بود تمام سنگين وزنهاى ايران را با اختلاف امتياز بالا از پيش رو برداشت و تنها در مقابل عليرضا رضايى، نتيجه را بدليل پارگى رگ خونى كنار استخوان ساق پاى چپ، واگذار نمود. بعد از المپيك ٢٠٠٤ آتن ديگر نوبت مجيد بود تا دوبنده تيم ملى را بر تن كند و به آرزوهاى خود جامه عمل بپوشاند، اما همان المپيك آتن قوانين كشتى از طرف فدراسيون جهانى به شكل بسيار عجيب و بنيادين تغيير كرد و همه امتيازها، اخطارها و زمان كشتى جابجا شد و مجيد يكسال ديگر نيز تلاش خود را كرد تا بتواند در اين قانون نيز مهارت لازم را پيدا كند، ولى واقعاً اين قانون با سيستم كشتى مجيد جور در نيامد و كشتى مجيد هم نتوانست با اين قوانين جور در بيايد! و اين آخر خط كشتى مجيد بود با رزومه شركت در ليگ برتر بمدت چهار سال و همكارى با تيم سنگ آهن بافق يزد و تمام پستى و بلندى ها و پشت سر گذاشتن بيش از دوازده سال تلاش در كشتى، ميدان را براى دوستان و همدورهاى خود خالى كرد، چرا كه روحيه مجيد اينطور نبود كه تاس شانس بخواهد سرنوشت كشتى او را مشخص كند و در آن دوره چه قهرمانان المپيك و جهان بودند كه قربانى اين تغيير نا عادلانه قانون شدند و مجيد هم در زمان گُل كشتى هاى خود قربانى اين قانون شد.

پس از دوران پر پيچ و خم كشتى در سال ١٣٨٥مجيد انگيزه قهرمانى خود در يك رشته ورزشى ديگر محك زد و با توجه به اينكه خویشاوند وى بنام على انورى از قهرمانان و مربيان ورزش كاراته بود، مجيد تمرينات خود را نزد  ايشان آغاز كرد و با توجه به آمادگى بدنى كه داشت بسرعت پله هاى ترقى را طى كرد و در مسابقات قهرمانى تهران و قهرمانى كشور سال ١٣٨٧ به مقام قهرمانى رسيد و انتخاب شد براى مسابقات جام دوستى امارات سال ١٣٨٨ و در آنجا نيز به مقام قهرمانى رسيد. 

در سال ٢٠١٠ در مسابقات كاپ آزاد جهانى در شفلد انگلستان شركت نمود و به مقام سوم رسيد و در سال ٢٠١١ در مسابقات جهانى كاراته وادوريو در آرلينگتون آمريكا شركت و به مقام چهارم دست پيدا كرد.

از سال ١٣٩٧ در رده هاى سنى پايه ورزش كشتى بعنوان مربى بطور حرفه اى مشغول بكار شد و از سنين شش سال تا شانزده سال را مورد آموزش كشتى قرار داد و در غالب بنياد انورى آموخته هاى حرفه اى خود را به كودكان شهر و محل خود انتقال ميداد. 

مجيد انورى در شاخه مربيگرى بدنسازى تخصصى رشته هاى مختلف ورزشى نيز فعاليت مينمود و در زمان تدريس دانشگاه، با دانشجويان برجسته ورزشى آشنا و همكارى نمود از جمله سجاد گنج زاده قهرمان طلاى المپيك و سعيد ملايى قهرمان نقره المپيك و از قهرمانان رشته هاى دوچرخه سوارى مرحوم زيبا مهينى و تكواندو كاوه رضايى كسانى بودند كه از علم مربيگرى و تدريس دانشگاهى وى بهره مند شدند.

در تمام اين سالها مجيد از درس خواندن نيز غافل نبود و همزمان با تمرينات طاقت فرساى كشتى در دانشگاه نيز بشدت درس خود را پيگيرى مينمود. 

در ادامه مدرك ليسانس خود را در سال ١٣٨٠ از دانشگاه آزاد واحد مركز دريافت نمود و در مقطع كارشناسى ارشد سال ١٣٨٢ دانشگاه آزاد واحد كرج  تحصيلات خود را ادامه داد و دفاع پايان نامه خود را با راهنمايى دكتر رحيمى و مشاوره دكتر سخنگويى با گرايش حركت اصلاحى انجام داد و  وارد مقطع دکترا شد و از سال ١٣٨٧ بعنوان استاد حق و التدريس به دانشگاه آزاد دعوت و آغاز به همكارى نمود و همزمان در دانشگاههاى واحد كرج و واحد سماء تهران تدريس مينومد و بمدت سيزده سال در دانشگاههاى اسلامشهر و كرج و تهران در رشته تربيت بدنى و علوم ورزشى، دروس آسيب شناسى ورزشى، حركت اصلاحى، حركت شناسى، تاريخ تربيت بدنى و دروس عملى كشتى، ورزشهاى رزمى و ژيمناستيك ادامه همكارى داد.
